USB application for photos

Handling photos on the go is never an easy task. You’re at a convention or a seminar or prepping for that big presentation but you’re not sitting at your own computer and wouldn’t it be nice if you could send out that critical photo right now? Except it’s on your USB drive and its way too big. It could take hours to e-mail or IM it. Okay, so it doesn’t take hours but it’s much faster if you shrink the photo. Now in the world of USB applications you can do just that. Well it’s not technically just a USB application but there is a portable version of it that works on USB drives and other portable devices.

The program is called Shrink Pic and it easily resizes photos for faster uploads and transfers in the digital world. A user can easily set up Shrink Pic to resize images automatically and send the smaller size on to its destination while saving the larger file in its original form on your USB drive. This is a great tool for people who are on the go and working from their USB drives. But even for infrequent users, it’s one more USB application that can make life easier. Shrink Pic runs in the background and it “knows” when you are attaching photos so it automatically sends the smaller size. But just in case you’d like to send the full sized photo from your USB drive or some other drive, it can be reset to do that. It’s a free download for Windows users.
